A Hearth Full of Rainbow Stones

This evening we were paid an unexpected visit by a rainbow paladin from the west. Slightly annoyed that we had to abruptly end our card duel, my sister and I welcomed the traveller to the Guild Hall; one does not simply turn away a rainbow paladin. She was low on mana and weary from her travels, so the Lady Commander of Copics and I provided her with some tonics and ether potions.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is to CASE one of the DT members. Make an ATC following this theme for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor, The East Wind.

I started my ATC by colouring The East Wind image using Prismacolor pencils. The background I inked using some Distress Ink. I was going to leave it at that, and then decided to turn my ATC into a Hearthstone card, making mana, damage and health values for it. I used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the blood drop, the Artbooking cartridge for the hexagon, the Artiste cartridge for the circle and sword (which was originally a neck tie), and the Birthday Bash cartridge for the numbers.

This ATC will creep into the following challenges:

It would seem our hospitality was not in vain, as the rainbow paladin rewarded us with a vial of valuable crafting dust. It was a shame I didn’t get to finish off my sister in the card duel however. I would have undoubtedly bested her, as I tend to do.

A Colourful Ceremony

Greetings. Thank you for stopping by the Guild Hall today. Today the Lady Commander of Copics performed the Butterfly Ceremony of old, hoping to gain favour with the nature gods. Donning her headband of +80 mana, she released the colourful creatures into the sky, speaking the holy incantation.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is Groovy Chicks. Make an ATC following this theme for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor, All Dressed Up.

I started my ATC by watercolouring the All Dressed Up image using Distress Markers. The background was stamped with some groovy images from the CAS-Ual Fridays “Exclamations” set. The sentiment also came from that set.

This ATC will creep into the following challenges:

As the butterflies flew away, tiny flecks of rainbow sparkles began to fall from their wings landing on the Lady Commander of Copics. I smiled as she was soon covered in colourful glitter. The ceremony had worked.

The Christmas Ghoul

Today as we were doing some spring cleaning around the Guild Hall, the Lady Commander of Copics came across a small Christmas Ghoul. She has been holed up since last December, snatching food from the kitchens. As she seemed harmless, and in her boredom reorganized all our Christmas decorations in the attic, we decided to leave her be.

This week the theme at Wicked Wednesday is April Fools or Your Favourite Holiday. Make an ATC following this theme for a chance to win a prize from our sponsor, Creepy Cute Stamps.

I started my ATC by colouring the Creepy Cute Stamps image using Prismacolor pencils. I figured her dress needed to look a little more Christmasy so I stamped it with a little snowflake from the Lawn Fawn “Critters in the Arctic” set. This earned me +90 fashionable XP. The holly for her hair was stamped using the Lawn Fawn “Winter Gifts” set and coloured with Prismacolor pencils.

I used my Wink of Stella glitter pen on her dress and the holly in her hair for some extra Christmas sparkle and +111 glittery XP. The snowflakes for the background were die cut using the Lawn Fawn “Stitched Snowflakes” die set. I had to add a sentiment, so stamped one using the Dylusions “Christmas Words” set.

This ATC will creep into the following challenges:

The Christmas Ghoul was a silent creature, never speaking as she went about her business. I don’t know if this would come back to haunt us later, but for now her organizational tendencies were enough to make me want to keep her around.
